"Quiet Confidence in a chaotic market."

Batia Mosa approached Weblyfe with the vision to transform from a traditional shipyard into a modern, digital-first leader. As the cleanest shipyard in Europe, they needed a brand that stood apart from the noise and chaos typical of the competition.

The goal was to design an online identity that reflected "Belgian quality" and "no subcontractors" while solving a critical operational problem: administrative friction. They needed a system that offered busy skippers immediate peace of mind and validated their need for control.

From brand concept to backend digitization, Weblyfe was responsible for crafting an ecosystem that balances technical detail with human craftsmanship.

Scope of work

1. Brand Identity Development Weblyfe developed a robust visual identity system that mirrors the structural integrity of a well-welded hull. The brand palette was anchored in "Welded Waters" (black) and "Midnight Port" (blue) for technical strength, punctuated by "Port Side" (red) to cut through the noise. We utilized the Poppins typeface to embody functional precision.Deliverables included:

  • Market strategy & website creation questionnaire
  • Logo system scalable across sub-divisions (Batia, Mosa, Shipyard Mosin)
  • Comprehensive styleguide and brand book
  • Color palette & font system definitions

2. Web Design & Development The Weblyfe team designed and built the Batia Mosa website in Webflow, moving away from generic industrial aesthetics to a custom platform focused on conversion and clarity. The interface was engineered for simplicity to remove friction for the user.

Key features include:

  • Neurodesign and animations optimized for conversion
  • Fully responsive design for mobile and tablet usage
  • Clear "Problem, Solution, Process" content structure
  • SEO optimization, page speed enhancements, and analytics integration

3. System Digitization & Backend A critical part of the scope was transforming friction-heavy paper trails into a streamlined digital ecosystem. Weblyfe digitized internal processes to create a mobile-friendly administrative system that allows for seamless intake and management.

This included:

  • Digitizing PDF forms into a mobile-friendly system
  • Creation of digital "Workorder Inspection" flows
  • Backend system setup for administrative maintenance
  • Loom instruction videos and technical support for staff

4. Copywriting & Content DirectionWeblyfe provided brand-aligned copywriting that speaks the language of the inland shipping professional: direct, transparent, and respectful. The tone is "Quiet Confidence", avoiding marketing fluff in favor of clear promises and "Engineered Simplicity".

Deliverables:

  • Homepage sections (What we do, The Problem, The Solution)
  • Team and "About Us" narratives
  • Product and process descriptions
  • Stats, testimonials, and FAQ sections

Results

Through a human-centered digital approach, Batia Mosa launched as a premium repair partner that stands apart from the competition. The brand now signals authority and trust instantly, positioning them as the top choice for skippers who value time and quality.

Since launch:

  • The brand successfully communicates "no subcontractors" and "Belgian quality"
  • Administrative friction was reduced through system digitization
  • Batia Mosa is positioned as a high-tech leader in the inland shipping market

Conclusion

The Batia Mosa project is a testament to Weblyfe’s ability to digitize industrial complexity into a seamless human experience. By combining strategic branding with a high-performance Webflow build, we helped a traditional shipyard redefine what repair looks like in the modern age.
